Senior Applied Scientist - Job Description

">About the Role

We're seeking an exceptional Senior Applied Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge AI models that drive business success.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, research, and software development. You will work closely with our engineering teams to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions.

Your primary focus will be on researching and developing high-accuracy ML models, applying advanced techniques to analyze complex datasets, and devising innovative data augmentation strategies. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design new product features and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, DL, and ML.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-accuracy ML models, focusing on surveying state-of-the-art publications on autonomous agents.
  • Apply advanced ML techniques to analyze complex datasets, extract meaningful insights, and develop predictive models to improve LLMs' accuracy and performance.
  • Devise and implement data augmentation techniques to enhance training and performance of LLMs.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to determine and prepare useful datasets for model training and testing.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to design new product features and stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
Requirements
  • PhD in science.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, data modeling, database systems, software architecture, algorithms, and run-time analysis.
  • Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics, and algorithms.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch and relevant libraries.
  • Experience in practical R&D and LLM training and fine-tuning.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills for designing, creating, and testing custom software.
