Emergency Radiographer Position

As a key member of our team, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Emergency Radiographer to join our dynamic radiology department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality radiographic examinations in a fast-paced emergency department environment, efficiently scanning diverse and complex case mixes.
  • Collaborate effectively with medical and non-medical staff to ensure timely examination completion and identify workflow optimization opportunities.
  • Report equipment malfunctions and quality control issues, providing training and guidance to junior colleagues.
  • Ensure compliance with patient care standards, productivity targets, and resource allocation requirements.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, contributing to the dissemination of knowledge within the department.
  • Address IT system, equipment, and PACS troubleshooting issues.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a General and CT Radiographer, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Current AHPRA Registration and NSW EPA Radiation Use License.
