Job Title: Social & Influencer Director

At Wavemaker, we're passionate about positively provoking growth for our clients, people, and partners. As a Social & Influencer Director, you'll play a key role in shaping decisions and experiences through media, content, and technology.

About the Role:

The Social & Influencer Director will be responsible for driving the social and influencer product overall within Wavemaker and its clients. You'll work with client teams and clients to define the opportunity for social content and influencer partnerships, helping to shape and realise big ideas into clearly articulated activation plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute influencer marketing strategies that drive engagement and conversions
  • Manage and lead a high-performing team to deliver outstanding influencer marketing implementation and results
  • Collaborate with client teams and clients to define social content and influencer partnership opportunities
  • Act as the interface between Wavemaker and partners to ensure client campaigns are executed and amplified effectively
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and shape solutions to meet client needs
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in social and influencer marketing, dealing with high-profile clients
  • Experience in delivering engagement-driving social strategies, building and managing large communities
  • Ability to interpret social platform and influencer research to develop end-to-end organic social and influencer strategy
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
  • Experience in managing influencer campaigns preferred
