Job Title: Seeking Psychiatrist for Clinical Services

 

The UNSW Health Service is seeking a qualified psychiatrist to work 1 or 2 days per week at our practice in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical services to students and staff at the University.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality psychiatric care to patients with mental health conditions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety
  • Participate in continuing medical education and professional development within the department
  • Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and carers, as well as colleagues and staff

Requirements:

  • Hold an MBBS or equivalent qualification and appropriate specialist registration
  • Be currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) without conditions
  • Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or equivalent specialist recognition
  • Have living and working rights in Australia
  • Maintain a high standard of clinical practice, with experience working with young adults and adolescents being an advantage
