The Sporting Globe is a dynamic sports bar and grill chain that offers a unique dining experience and live sports entertainment. As a Sports Bar Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, including training, rostering, and on-shift management. You will also oversee operations across the venue, including running the restaurant, bar, and functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff, including training, rostering, and on-shift management.
  • Oversee operations across the venue, including running the restaurant, bar, and functions.
  • Adhere to and audit OH&S and Food Hygiene procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to build sales and revenue while controlling costs.
  • Ensure superior service and quality to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  • Drive a positive working environment and lead by example as a senior restaurant leader.
  • Maintain current market knowledge and harness your ability to engage and execute promotional/marketing concepts to assist in business growth.

Requirements:

  • 3yrs Hospitality Management experience.
  • Exposure to both Bar and Restaurant environments.
  • Experience in controlling financial aspects of a business.
  • The ability to lead, train, and develop a team.
  • RSA, RSG, TAB Basics & Advanced essential.
  • First aid certificate preferred but not essential.
  • Approved Managers Certificate preferred but not essential.
