Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician in the Purchasing Department, you will be responsible for ordering, delivering, and receipting medications for the Health Service. You will also assist with inventory management and control, ensuring timely and cost-effective supply of medication to our facilities. This role involves working closely with the Director and Deputy Director of Pharmacy to ensure continuity of medication supply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procure and manage pharmaceutical supplies
  • Assist with inventory management and control
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient medication supply
Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with:

  • A Certificate III in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in pharmacy and the PBS
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Salary and Remuneration

The estimated salary range for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to your base salary, you will also receive benefits such as professional development opportunities and access to our Staff Wellbeing Centre.
