Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at Programmed. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and processing fortnightly payroll for 700 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for 700 employees, including inputting and updating employee information, hours worked, deductions, and benefits.
  • Verify and reconcile payroll discrepancies, including adjustments and corrections.
  • Address and resolve payroll-related queries and issues from employees.
  • Maintain and update payroll software and systems for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality and security.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Payroll position, including processing timesheets and managing employee data.
  • Experience with ADP system is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills to resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee queries effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with employees and other departments.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in processing payroll and handling sensitive data.
  • Able to commit to this position for a minimum of 3 months.
