Canberra, ACT, Australia beBeeStrategic Full time $79,234 - $97,732

At the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission, we advise senior decision makers on serious and organised crime impacting Australia. We operate against a pervasive, transnational and globalised criminal threat, and work hard to realise an Australia hostile to criminal exploitation.

We are seeking talented and dedicated individuals who are intelligent, highly capable and seeking to make a difference to the lives of all Australians. As a member of our Executive Branch, you will lead the development of ACIC policy and strategy, deliver high-quality stakeholder engagement, governance, reporting and communication services.

You will serve as an interface between the ACIC's intelligence collection capabilities and the development of whole-of-government strategies, policies and initiatives. You will also have high level engagement with external stakeholders and provide ministerial and board liaison and support, including secretariat support for external and internal governance committees.

Key responsibilities include coordinating media response, managing online channels, providing communication and graphic design support, and ensuring the ACIC operates effectively to deliver on its purpose and communicate its achievements through strategic planning and performance reporting.

We require candidates with experience in governance, secretariat, business planning, ministerial, parliamentary, corporate management, media, communications or policy development roles. The successful applicant will contribute to organisational goals, develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and demonstrate strong initiative and problem-solving skills.

The Advisor role offers opportunities for growth and development, working collaboratively with a team of professionals to achieve shared outcomes. If you are a motivated and driven individual looking to make a meaningful contribution to the fight against serious and organised crime, we encourage you to apply.

We will be conducting a merit-based selection process to fill multiple APS5/APS6 Advisor positions across the Executive Branch. A merit pool will also be created and may be utilised to fill future Advisor vacancies that may arise over the next 18 months.
