Interest Rate Derivatives Trader

Responsibilities:

As an Interest Rate Derivatives Trader, you will be responsible for managing the ACGB trading book, while also having exposure to SSA and Semi trading. Your primary focus will be to provide pricing and solutions to clients and financial institutions across the Global Markets product set.

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on interest rate derivatives and bonds
  • Gather and analyze market data to inform trading decisions
  • Develop and manage relationships with broker/dealers to optimize trading opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records of market data, trading data, and client interactions
  • Achieve individual and team profit and loss targets by effectively managing risk and optimizing trading strategies

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, with CFA candidacy or Masters degree preferred
  • Strong understanding of rates products, particularly ACGBs, with experience trading across the suite of rates products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills, with ability to make informed decisions under pressure
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and oral
