Are you seeking a trade qualification & hands-on experience?

- Work with a large company based at the Coolum industrial estate

This 12 month traineeship will provide you with hands on experience servicing & repairing production machinery for a large timber, truss, and frame manufacturer in Coolum. The successful applicant will be someone who will hold a mechanical aptitude having worked previously on small projects at home or school. On completion you will receive a Certificate II in Engineering that is a base qualification for those wishing to continue in a machinery maintenance type role.

**About You**

Looking for a motivated individual with a passion for engineering who:

- Can commute to work daily (limited public transport available)
- Is available to work Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm
- Has basic computer skills (Excel proficiency required)
- Has an interest in hands-on mechanical work
- Previous welding experience is desirable
- A proactive attitude within the workplace is essential
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills are necessary
- Must be extremely reliable and punctual
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol test
