Practice Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Leader to join our National Medical Law team in Perth. As a Practice Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the Head of Practice to achieve business-unit strategy and deliver operational, financial, client, and people targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Practice in developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Lead and manage a team of legal professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality legal advice and client outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, law societies, the Courts, insurers, defendants, government, counsel, medical, and allied health professionals.
  • Manage a complex file-load, ensuring timely and effective resolution of client matters.
  • Contribute to the development of the practice group, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven post-admission experience as a Personal Injury Lawyer, preferably in Medical Law.
  • Sound legal technical expertise and ability to build strong relationships with all levels of staff.
  • Prior experience leading and motivating legal professionals, with a systematic and structured approach to work.
  • Superior communication skills and ability to show initiative.
  • Sound technical and functional skills to support others, with a team player mindset.
