Job Title: Food and Beverage Team Member

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and professional Food and Beverage Team Member to join our team at Novotel. As a key member of our team, you will represent our service philosophy and provide exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Explain menus to guests, assist with special dietary needs, and provide beverage recommendations
  • Engage with guests during breakfast and dinner service
  • Serve drinks from the bar or deliver to tables
  • Deliver room service orders
  • Order and deliver food and beverage orders
  • Liaise with the kitchen on special requests or delayed meals
  • Clear and reset tables, ensuring service areas are clean and tidy
  • Assist the kitchen with dishes and cleaning
  • Maintain hygiene standards for food handling and presentation
  • Assist with conferences and events, room setup, or pack down

Requirements:

  • A friendly, customer-focused attitude with a strive for Total Customer Satisfaction
  • Initiative to ensure positive and efficient interactions with customers
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience
  • Confidence in liaising with internal and external clients
  • A high standard of grooming and presentation
  • Ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts
