Job Description

We are looking for a senior solutions architect to lead our data science and machine learning projects.

As a key member of our professional services team, you will work with clients on short to medium term engagements to help them get the most value out of their data.

  • You will provide technical guidance and support to customers, delivering high-quality projects that meet their needs.
  • Our RSAs are billable and know how to complete projects efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
  • You will design and implement solution architectures, MLOPs frameworks, MVPs, and production-grade applications that drive business outcomes.
  • Guide strategic customers through end-to-end design, build, and deployment of industry-leading AI applications.
  • Consult on ML architecture and design; bootstrap or implement strategic customer projects that lead to a customer's successful understanding, evaluation, and adoption of Databricks.
  • Provide escalated support for customer operational issues and collaborate with the Databricks technical team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Work with Engineering and Customer Support to provide product and implementation feedback and guide rapid resolution for engagement-specific product and support issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in technical architecture of consulting roles preferably in customer-facing positions:
    • ML Engineer: Build and maintain production-grade cloud infrastructure that supports the deployment of ML applications.
    • Data Scientist: Experience with latest techniques in machine learning and Generative AI processing, including vector databases, fine-tuning LLMs, and deploying LLMs with tools such as HuggingFace, Langchain, and OpenAI.
  • Comfortable writing code in either Python or Scala.
  • Experience with technical project delivery - managing scope and timelines.
  • Documentation and white-boarding skills.
  • Experience working with clients and managing conflicts.
  • Travel to customers 20 - 30% of the time.
  • Nice to have: Databricks Certification.
