We are seeking a highly skilled Nursing Informatics Researcher to join our Digital Health team at Monash Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving the transformation of clinical care through the effective use of digital health technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership in the development and implementation of digital health strategies and solutions that meet the needs of our patients and clinicians.
- Liaise with clinical and solutions teams to ensure that digital health solutions are clinically fit for purpose and meet the needs of our patients.
- Advise on the adoption, change, and training of digital health solutions to ensure a smooth transition for our clinicians and patients.
- Manage the digital health vision and strategy to ensure alignment with our organizational goals and objectives.
- Work collaboratively with the project team, Nursing and Midwifery Informatics Team, Medical Informatics Team, and Allied Health Informatics teams to identify improvements in workflows and clinical practices.
- Clinical engagement with differing health professionals and committees to share workflow improvement opportunities and promote the safe and effective care of our patients.
- Ensure the application of research supports best clinical practice and meets legislative requirements and standards of practice.
- Assist with the development and coordination of research projects, including governance and approval processes from Human Research Ethics Committees (HRECs).
- Experience in undertaking and publishing research with a particular interest in digital health.
- General aptitude for solving problems and using technology to improve processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good aptitude and experience with basic digital systems (M365 Suite, etc).
- Registration as a Registered Nurse or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Proficient or expert level proficiency working in a Nursing or Midwifery role within the hospital environment.
