Key Role in Software Development

This position plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of software. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead and guide other engineering leaders to deliver innovative features that drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing software development teams, with a proven track record of fostering good team culture. They should be able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and advocate for the engineering team's needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Attract, recruit, and retain capable individuals, promoting diversity and inclusion within the team.
  • Process Champion: Drive processes and practices that enable engineers to excel, creating a safe environment for experimentation and learning.
  • Mentorship: Role-model exemplary leadership, supporting the growth of the next generation of engineering leaders.
Key Performance Indicators
  1. Support and develop the performance and reliability of applications through active measurement and continuous improvement.
  2. Expertise in planning, executing, and monitoring projects using Agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery.
  3. Collaborate as a leader of leaders, coach direct reports, and act as an escalation point to align the team with objectives and deliverables.
  4. Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and advocate for the engineering team's needs.

  • Demonstrate knowledge, skills, and expertise in managing software development teams, with a proven track record of building and maintaining good team culture.
  • Share expertise and experience to connect and support the growth of a culture of continuous empathy towards customers.
  • Attributes and motivations to grow talent in the team by identifying skill gaps and ensuring there is a clear strategy to close those gaps.
  • Coach the team on Agile software engineering practices, ensuring technical practices are continuously improved to deliver high-quality software.
  • Lead Engineering teams are unblocked, supported, and accelerated in their adoption of DevSecOps tools and practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and manage experimentation frameworks, including A/B testing and iterative development.
