Medical Clinic Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and organised individual to join our medical team as a Medical Clinic Assistant.

This is an opportunity for those who are eager to learn, driven, resilient and empathetic with strong customer service skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing phone enquiries, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records and processing administrative tasks in a timely and professional manner.

  • Managing phone calls and responding to patient enquiries
  • Front of house reception and greeting patients upon arrival
  • Scheduling appointments for patients and referrers
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Processing invoices/receipts and Medicare rebates

The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management and organisational skills, a high level of attention to detail and confidentiality, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient communication and workflow efficiently
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Process administrative tasks and payments accurately
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff
