Travel Consultant Job Description:

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced travel consultant to join our dynamic team as a Senior Afterhours Travel Consultant. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a company that values its people and community.

This role involves providing exceptional travel management services to clients, including managing travel arrangements, transfers, and bookings. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality results and providing excellent customer service to clients.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the travel industry, with a minimum of 3 years of experience. They should possess confident GDS skills in Sabre and experience working with high-demand corporate accounts. Additionally, they should be able to work at least one week per month on night shifts (minimum 6 hours) and be available to work three weekends per month on rotating shifts. A willingness to work on Public Holidays on a rotating roster is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage travel arrangements, transfers, and bookings for clients
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the travel industry
