Job Title: Bereavement Counsellor

- Provide one-to-one support to children and young people who have experienced a loss through suicide, utilising a trauma-informed, person-centred approach that focuses on their strengths.">
- Coordinate groups and workshops for children, young people, and families to promote healing and awareness.">
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver community-based education and raise awareness about the impact of suicide.">
Responsibilities:
">The successful candidate will offer tailored support, facilitate groups and workshops, and contribute to community education. They will also engage in outreach activities within the Perth metropolitan area.

- A degree in counselling, psychology or a related field is essential.">
- Significant experience working with children, young people, families and communities affected by trauma is required.">
- Ability to build rapport and engage with children and young people.">
- Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in client management systems.">
