Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Facilitating access to community resources and supporting social and recreational participation.
  • Advocating for client rights and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Collaborating with the wider care team to develop and implement care plans.
Requirements
  • A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Aged Care (or equivalent).
  • Experience providing person-centred support to individuals with a range of disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
  • A full Victorian driver's license and comprehensive vehicle insurance.
  • Must be eligible to work in Australia.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Disability Support Worker.
  • Must own or have access to a reliable car.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
