Job Overview

The role of Desktop Support Technician involves serving as the primary point of contact for end user IT support and problem resolution at a client site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, install, and setup desktop PC & laptop hardware.
  • Support MS Teams meeting room equipment.
  • Provide general IT troubleshooting and assistance on site as required.
  • Manage incidents, knowledge base articles, tasks, and assets within an IT Service Management tool.
  • Maintain stock, computer, and communications rooms in order.
  • Manage electronic waste effectively.
  • Deliver user training sessions to facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Assist with project work and planned activities.
Requirements

Applicants should have a qualification in an IT-related discipline and experience supporting IT technologies including PC & laptop hardware, Windows 11, Outlook, MS Teams, MS Office, and basic networking understanding.

Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills, a strong customer service focus, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, planning, and priority-setting skills, along with a valid driver's license.
