This role offers a unique opportunity to lead our capital works team and drive innovation in precinct design and delivery.

About the Role

The General Manager, Capital Works will oversee the planning, design, and execution of major capital works projects. You will work closely with the Chief Property Officer to develop a comprehensive strategy that aligns with our property team's goals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a team responsible for developing briefs, designing, and delivering complex capital works projects;
  • Developing innovative business cases and plans within strict timelines and budgets;
  • Maintaining legislative requirements related to project planning and development;
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications and experience in project management, building, architecture, or related fields;
  • Experience in integrated precinct/place-making design and delivery, including master planning;
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to transform a team in a complex and dynamic environment;
  • Ability to manage design and implementation for the interface of new and existing infrastructure on live sites;
