About the Role:

As a Clinical Project Officer, Social Work Rehabilitation, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of a new mental health rehabilitation service in Southern Adelaide. You will work collaboratively with the Allied Health Director, Head of Unit, and broader project team to coordinate and manage projects related to social work practice in mental health rehabilitation.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Influencing the delivery of social work services to consumers in the new mental health rehabilitation unit
  • Reviewing and developing workflow processes and quality assurance processes to improve practice
  • Utilizing and developing outcome measures to evaluate the effectiveness of social work interventions
  • Providing leadership, consultancy, and advice to management and other health professionals on service delivery and practice within social work services
  • Acting as a role model, mentor, consultant, and resource person

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • Demonstrated high-level communication skills
  • Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
  • Proven experience in delivering high-quality and safe care consistent with the National Safety and Quality Health Care Service Standards
  • Experience in service improvement activities
  • Experience in using organisational management information systems
