Lagardere AWPL is a leading Travel Retail operator in the Pacific with an extensive network of over 150 stores across Australia, New Zealand, and Noumea. This company employs thousands of professionals across various retail concepts.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain payroll records, master data, and files.
- Manage month-end and year-end processes to prepare payment summaries.
- Control payroll, payroll tax, group tax, PAYG, PAYE, KiwiSaver, work cover premiums, insurance, and authorised payroll deductions.
- Utilise systems including Affinity and Time Attendance system, UKG.
- Calculate and remit Superannuation Guarantee Contribution and Salary Sacrifice payments.
- Proven experience as a Senior Payroll Officer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation and regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software systems; UKG and Affinity payroll system desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
