We are seeking a skilled Patient Transport Officer to join our team at the Royal Flying Doctor Service, Victoria. As a Patient Transport Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation services to individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and interventions on-road
- Provide exceptional patient care and treatment during on-road transport
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients and stakeholders
- Assess the effectiveness of interventions in accordance with RFDS MPC guidelines and NEPT regulations
- Work independently and problem-solve within established policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless patient care
- Qualified as a Patient Transport Officer (PTO) with a minimum of a Cert III in Non-Emergency Patient Care
- Experience working in the NEPT sector is desirable but not essential
- Hold a FULL Victorian Driver's license and have a satisfactory driving history report
- Availability to work shifts across a 24-hour, 7-day roster
