The Supervisor role plays a pivotal part in bridging strategy and day-to-day execution on the production floor. This position is accountable for leading frontline teams to achieve operational goals while contributing to the factory's broader strategic objectives.

To ensure a safe, efficient, and high-performing environment, the Supervisor fosters continuous improvement, team development, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of operational plans by translating them into clear daily priorities.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement in line with site objectives and escalate insights to management for broader decision-making.

  • Contribute to resource planning discussions to ensure alignment with production targets and long-term demand forecasts.

  • Oversee daily production activities to ensure output, quality, labor efficiency, and delivery KPIs are met.

  • Deliver effective maintenance and monitoring of production KPIs: safety, quality, operational equipment effectiveness.

  • Develop and oversee workforce and operational scheduling (e.g., training and management communication sessions) to ensure effective delivery of KPIs and adherence to procedures and standards.

  • Utilize data dashboards and reports to monitor team performance and drive timely corrective actions.

  • Maintain accurate records for time, attendance, materials, and production progress.

  • Maintain a strong presence on the shopfloor and stay closely connected to daily operations.

  • Champion a safety-first culture and ensure team compliance with OH&S policies.

  • Conduct routine safety briefings and audits; report and investigate incidents promptly.

  • Compliance to policies, procedures, and work instructions.

  • Lead by example and take full ownership of team performance, behaviors, and engagement.

  • Coach and develop Team Leaders and Operators, supporting capability building and succession planning.

  • Provide feedback through regular performance conversations and support team members' career progression.

  • Promote a positive, respectful, and collaborative team environment.

  • Guide and facilitate the Production Team Leaders to oversee personnel issues for all shifts including Kronos time and attendance system, induction and assessment, training, mentoring, leave and injury management, and coordination of suitable duties.

  • Lead Lean initiatives such as 6S, visual management, and waste reduction.
  • Support problem-solving and root cause analysis to resolve quality and productivity issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in processes and systems.
  • Perform other duties assigned as required.
