Job Title: Trades Assistant

As a Trades Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our maintenance and repair operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist trades personnel in completing preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment
  2. Use various hand and power tools to perform tasks efficiently
  3. Perform general laboring duties as required, including cleaning and preparing work areas
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ability to work afternoon and night shifts
  • Ability to work within timeframes to a high standard, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations
  • Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, environmental and quality standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees
  • Proactive nature to support the team, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes
  • Flexibility to work in a multi-skilled team with the ability to work independently, taking initiative and solving problems effectively
