Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Stakeholder Engagement Specialist to support the Learning on Country Program across 14 remote communities. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating operations, engaging with local coordinators, and Indigenous stakeholders, and delivering meaningful cultural, educational, and employment outcomes.
About the Role
- This position is responsible for providing day-to-day oversight and coordination of the Operational functions of the LoC Program across 14 remote community delivery sites under the direction of the LoC Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the 'on-ground' aspect of the LoC Program and directly engage with local coordinators, Indigenous stakeholders, Program partners, and the wider LoC Program network.
- Provide advice and assistance in ensuring delivery site compliance in accordance with Government funding criteria and the LoC Program Guidelines.
What We Need
- Qualifications or lived experience in working with remote Indigenous communities in the education space.
- Practical skills in developing MOUs, Operational Plans, and supporting senior secondary or vocational education programs.
- Knowledge of the Learning on Country Program, two-way pedagogical approaches, and Indigenous Ranger Programs.
- Strong project management and administrative skills.
