This is a mission-critical role responsible for driving operational excellence and strategic growth within an expanding Data Centre portfolio.

About the Role:

A global organisation is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the management of multiple hyperscale Data Centres.

The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience in managing mission-critical environments, with a deep understanding of critical infrastructure systems including UPS, generators, and HVAC.

They will be responsible for developing and executing a long-term strategy for Data Centre operations, aligning with business expansion goals, and ensuring full compliance with industry regulations and standards.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for leading sustainability initiatives, promoting green Data Centre practices, and driving carbon footprint reduction.

In addition, they will need to stay ahead of emerging trends in AI, automation, and edge computing to ensure competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a long-term strategy for Data Centre operations, aligning with business expansion goals.
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, including Data Centre managers, engineers, and operational support staff across multiple locations.
  • Drive capacity planning, expansion projects, and infrastructure upgrades to meet evolving market demands.
  • Implement best practices for power, cooling, networking, and security to maintain world-class reliability.
  • Standardise Data Centre operational processes across all locations to drive efficiency and consistency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in large-scale Data Centre operations, with proven leadership in managing mission-critical environments.
  • Expertise in high-density computing environments, hybrid cloud solutions, and colocation services.
  • Deep understanding of critical infrastructure systems, including UPS, generators, and HVAC.
