**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Equine Veterinarian to join our dynamic team at Seven Animal Health in Ballarat, Victoria.

The successful candidate will be working within a great team of equine professionals who value compassion, respect, professionalism, and teamwork. The role involves providing ambulatory services to racetracks and general equine clients in the surrounding area.

**What You'll Be Doing**

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing racing stable work and general practice equine work including lameness assessment, dentistry, lacerations, reproductive work, field colic assessment, and other general veterinary equine practices;
  • Attending thoroughbred and harness race meetings as the official veterinarian;
  • Sharing weekend after-hours responsibility with the normal rotation being one weekend in every four weeks;

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as an Equine Veterinarian;
  • Experience in similar roles or related fields;
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities;
  • A strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care and client service.
