Job Description

This position plays a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable data systems that meet the needs of our business.

  • Create robust, efficient data models that cater to diverse analytical and processing requirements.
  • Write effective queries, structure datasets for analytics, and troubleshoot performance issues in production environments.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Modelling: Develop flexible and scalable data architectures to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
  2. Query Writing: Create complex SQL queries to extract insights from large datasets and provide data-driven recommendations.
  3. Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot performance issues in production environments and implement solutions to improve query execution times.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on data modelling, aggregation, and business intelligence.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing principles and dimensional modelling.
  • Expert-level SQL skills for complex data manipulation, querying, and aggregation.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data accuracy and integrity is essential.
