Laundry Assistant

We are seeking Laundry Attendants to join our team in a fast-paced commercial laundry environment. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating and maintaining laundry equipment, receiving, sorting and loading laundry according to internal procedures, folding and arranging laundry for collection, feeding laundry into ironing machines and performing general tasks to ensure the laundry is clean, tidy and operational.
The ideal candidate will have own reliable transport, a positive mental attitude, proven reliability, punctuality and work ethic, physical fitness, stamina and ability to stand for long periods, and a Forklift Ticket (highly regarded).
Requirements:To be successful in these roles, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A high school certificate or equivalent
- Physical fitness and stamina
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Reliable transportation
As a Laundry Attendant with us, you can expect:
- Competitive hourly rate of $26.44 - $30.50 per hour
- Ongoing work opportunities
- Early start and early finish (6:30am - 2:30pm)
- On-the-job training
- Immediate start
- Weekly pay
Our laundry facility operates Monday to Friday, with an 8-hour shift per day. We also offer overtime pay and penalty rates. The successful candidate must be able to commute or relocate to Eagle Farm, QLD before starting work. Australian work authorisation is required.
