As a Laundry Assistant, you'll help make residents feel at home by ensuring fresh, clean clothes that support their comfort, dignity and wellbeing.
What you'll do
Wash, dry, fold and sort clothes and linen for residents and the sites
Keep laundry areas clean and safe and make sure laundry is done on time
Talk kindly with residents and help with any concerns they have about their special clothing
Follow safety rules and laundry standards
Help look after laundry equipment and supplies including regular linen stock takes
What you'll need
Experience working in laundry or cleaning is helpful but not required
Able to speak clearly and work with others
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Able to follow instructions and work safely
Police check/NDIS Worker Check or willing to get one
