Early Childhood Leadership Opportunity

This esteemed early childhood organisation is seeking a visionary Director to spearhead the development of their centre.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, ensuring the highest standards of early childhood education and care are met.

A key aspect of this role is providing strong leadership to the teaching team, overseeing curriculum planning and implementation, and maintaining open communication with parents and the local community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Develop and implement effective strategies to promote a stimulating and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
  • Educational Excellence: Collaborate with the teaching team to design and deliver high-quality educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children.
  • Parent and Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and the local community through regular communication and involvement in centre activities.
  • Compliance: Ensure the centre meets all relevant regulations, licensing requirements, and safety standards.
  • Staff Development: Provide opportunities for staff professional growth and development to enhance their skills and maintain high-quality teaching practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as an Early Childhood Director.
  • A Diploma of Early Childhood or a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field recognised by ACECQA.
  • Proven experience in an Early Childhood Director role in a childcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of child development and early education principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and collaborative environment for both staff and children.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and licensing standards.
