Asset Management Specialist Opportunity
In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in promoting a positive culture where knowledge and ideas are shared within the team. You will manage your team's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to maximize their ability and productivity.
You will be responsible for providing effective asset management and financial reporting across all areas by maintaining accurate records of the client's roads and drainage assets. This will involve:
- Providing technical expertise in the development of geographical information system capabilities.
- Developing asset management solutions incorporating GIS-based asset data and customer enquiry datasets.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to create reports and provide advice on GIS Branch and corporate matters.
- Ensuring the accuracy and currency of asset-related information throughout its lifecycle, from creation to condition survey and data flow.
To succeed in this role, you will require demonstrated knowledge of asset management principles to develop systems and procedures for roads and drainage asset management. Additionally, you will need:
- An understanding of the development of Asset Management Plans using the International Infrastructure Management Manual approach.
- A comprehension of spatial information systems and technologies.
- Clear communication and teamwork skills.
- A current 'C' class driver's license.
- Relevant technical qualifications in infrastructure asset management.
This is an initial 6-month placement, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance. The position offers a competitive hourly rate, making it an attractive opportunity for those seeking to grow their career in asset management.
