Nurse Support Specialist
Job Description:
The position is supernumerary to the midwifery roster and has been piloted to innovate and strengthen our maternity model of care. The dedicated role is in addition to existing midwife to patient ratios and is designed to complement and support established midwifery care.
">This specialist nurse provides essential support alongside midwives, to care for neonates requiring additional clinical care on the maternity ward. The program aims to deliver exceptional patient-centred care and make a meaningful difference in people's lives.
">To achieve this goal, you will have a keen interest in neonatal care or be considering a future career in midwifery. You are also required to provide evidence of, or be in the process of obtaining, a current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
