Are you a passionate educator looking to inspire the next generation of rural innovators? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled agricultural expert to join our teaching team within the School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated academic with expertise across both cropping/horticulture and livestock production systems. As a member of our agricultural teaching team, you will be involved in planning and delivering course content, leading hands-on and field-based learning activities, and helping students make clear connections between theory and practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
  • Contribute to administrative responsibilities across the School
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum that meets industry needs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A postgraduate qualification in agricultural science or a closely related field (e.g. Honours, Masters, or PhD), or equivalent standing
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach to contributing to team culture
