Job Title

A labourer is required to perform various tasks related to maintaining infrastructure in our community.

  • Installing and replacing road signs.
  • Pathways, kerb and channel repairs.
  • Replacing manholes.
  • Conducting fence repairs.
  • Replacing lintels and grates.
  • Repairing headwalls.
  • Clearing open drains.
  • Fixing traffic island defects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The role involves performing manual tasks safely and effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for teamwork and collaboration.
  • Applicants must demonstrate physical capability and knowledge of the job requirements.

Requirements:

  • Recent experience in a manual position is essential.
  • Experience in maintaining similar infrastructure or performing similar tasks is desirable.
  • Current C class drivers licence (Level 2) OR a current truck licence (minimum MR - medium rigid) (Level 3).
  • Construction Induction Card.
