Job Title: Planning and Scheduling Expert

 

Job Description:

As a Planning and Scheduling Expert, you will play a key role in delivering planning and scheduling activities on the Kemerton Expansion Project. You will work closely with the project team to ensure effective and timely execution of construction schedules throughout Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Kemerton Expansion Project in overall planning, scheduling, and project control duties.
  • Use Primavera P6 and Acumen Fuse for Master Schedule and Contractor Schedules preparation, maintenance, and evaluation.
  • Analyze emerging trends and evaluate against control baselines in Contractor Schedules.
  • Liaise with Contractors and manage Contractor scheduling requirements as per construction package contracts.
  • Provide scheduling guidance, analysis, and reports to KEP construction team.
  • Update consolidated KEP Master Schedule to reflect contractor package progress.
  • Perform accurate and timely management of Change Control (Scope Changes and Trends).
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with Contractor Project Controls and Project Management teams.

 

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in planning and scheduling on large capital projects ($150M+).
  • Experience in all aspects of planning & scheduling during detailed engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases of a large capital project.
  • Must have extensive experience using Primavera in a construction environment.
  • Thorough understanding of engineering and construction productivity measurements.
  • Able to work both independently with minimal direction and collaboratively in a team environment.

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Management or related field.
  • Formal Primavera Training.
