We are seeking a trainee to join our team of inspectors. The successful candidate will assist experienced technicians in conducting equipment condition inspections on heavy industrial and mine sites.
The role involves working with various inspection technologies, including ECA (Eddy Current Array) and UT (Ultrasonic Testing), to ensure high-quality results. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional services to our clients.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a mechanical background and aptitude with experience using power and hand tools. You must also be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
This position requires strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Travel to remote areas for periods of time at short notice may be required.
- Assist experienced technicians in completing equipment condition inspections on heavy industrial and mine sites.
- Gain experience using ECA and UT technologies.
- Complete assigned competency and qualification training modules.
- Ensure equipment is set up, calibrated, and functional for each inspection.
