The Women's and Children's Health Network invites applications for a challenging and rewarding role as Lead Healthcare Professional for Paediatric Medicine. In this position, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in nursing management to provide strategic direction and leadership to the team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert advice on risk, safety, and quality, including managing related projects and training.
  • Collaborating with Divisional staff and the Safety and Quality Unit (SQU) to develop a continuous improvement framework supporting quality projects that enhance service delivery and patient outcomes for WCHN.
  • Initiating and monitoring systems to ensure adherence to clinical reporting requirements and the delivery of various projects, plans, and evaluations supporting the Region's objectives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong leadership skills, including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving conflict resolution and negotiation. Additionally, you must be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and prioritize workload and meet timelines.
