Landholder Relations Project Officer

Role OverviewWe're seeking multiple Project Officers to join our Landholder Relations team. As a key member, you'll work closely with our experienced team to support renewable energy projects, maintaining strong relationships with landholders and stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities- Plan and schedule land access and community engagement activities to ensure seamless project execution
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with landholders, ensuring timely access for project activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to collect land-related input from landholders for various project processes
- Contribute to strategies for addressing complex or sensitive landholder and land access issues
- Maintain accurate records of landholder contacts to support project reporting and knowledge sharing
- Manage subcontractors to meet business and landholder commitments and expectations
- A degree in environment or social science, communications, archaeology, or surveying is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills to set priorities, meet deadlines, and keep accurate records
- Background in land management, development industries, or field infrastructure construction is highly advantageous
- Experience working in remote or rural areas, with a solid understanding of rural land practice
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with emotional intelligence to build and sustain relationships with diverse stakeholders
This is a field-based role offering a 9-day fortnight with RDOs every second week. You'll have the flexibility to work in Brisbane, Townsville, Mount Isa, or Rockhampton. We offer robust leadership development through integrated programs, fostering growth across all levels.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this role is $83,000 - $110,000, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including flexible working arrangements, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
