Underground Drill Fitting Opportunity

We are seeking skilled professionals to maintain and service underground diamond drilling equipment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on drill rigs, preferably in an underground setting. They will possess a relevant trade qualification and be proficient in basic hydraulic and electrical diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and servicing of underground drilling equipment
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on drill rigs
  • Maintaining optimal functionality of underground drilling equipment
  • Coordinating with teams and communicating effectively for seamless drilling operations
  • Participating in ordering and maintenance of relevant parts/stock
  • Managing costs and quality of repairs
  • Daily completion reports and submission of time sheets
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working on drill rigs, preferably underground
  • Relevant trade qualification
  • Basic hydraulic & electrical diagnostics and component rebuilds
  • Effective troubleshooting and quick problem resolution skills
  • Current manual C Class Driver License
  • National Police Clearance (within last 6 months)
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screen)
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to safety standards and hazard identification
  • High level of attention to detail and good time management
