Mental Health Specialist Job Description

We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in enhancing the mental health and well-being of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients.
  • Provide one-on-one support and guidance to individuals facing mental health challenges.

  • Foster strong relationships with healthcare professionals, families, and community resources to provide comprehensive care.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation and case notes to maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Pursue ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry advancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, Social Work, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Relevant certifications in mental health support (e.g., Mental Health First Aid).
  • Previous experience in a mental health or support role is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
