About the Role

The Specialist Contractor Management role involves managing contractor performance to enhance efficiency and drive optimisation.

Key accountabilities include ensuring contractor conformance with BHP's Charter, Group Level Documents and relevant statutory obligations.

This entails conducting verification activities, including routine assurance and field leadership safety interactions. It also involves maintaining effective governance of the portfolio, monitoring contractor performance and escalating contractual issues as necessary.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated work experience with HSE management, OHS and WHS. A tertiary qualification in HSE, Engineering or Law is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.

Exceptional engagement and collaboration skills are required to manage stakeholder relationships. Proficiency in MS Office suite products is also necessary. An overriding commitment to health, safety, environment and sustainable development is essential.

Location

This role is based in Perth, Western Australia, at the City Square office tower. The modern open plan office features stunning river views, state-of-the-art facilities and a large outdoor terrace with barbecues.

About You
