We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the position of Mechanical Service Coordinator. This role requires strong planning and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical trade background and experience in fixed plant mining equipment. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate mechanical service and maintenance work for clients during planned shutdown periods
  • Oversee project equipment mechanical commissioning
  • Conduct inspections, testing and analysis of equipment
  • Plan and manage planned and unplanned maintenance and repairs
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Lead and coordinate local and international personnel as required
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Mechanical trade background, ideally with experience in fixed plant mining equipment
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and customer service orientation
  • Technical advisory experience with OEM equipment
  • Supervisory experience and ability to lead teams
  • Semi-hands-on role with capability to lead local and international personnel
  • Proactive attitude and ability to build relationships with a range of people
  • Customer interface and negotiation skills
