Job Overview

About Us:

We provide risk and claims management services. Our purpose is to GUIDE those suffering a loss to the best outcomes for their health and financial wellbeing, and to GUARD our clients' assets as trusted stewards.

This role is responsible for leading a Self Insurance team within our National Personal Injury Operation.

  • Provide guidance and technical support to Case Managers and Senior Case Managers.
  • Develop a small team to ensure capability to deliver superior outcomes.
  • Deliver a customer-focused, cost-effective and professional claims service.
  • Ensure contractual, compliance and KPI requirements are met for key stakeholders.

You will also:

  • Monitor and undertake quality assurance around claims processes, team performance trends and identify improvement opportunities or take remedial action.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to staff on technical and performance related issues.
  • Ensure delivery of an empathetic, caring and personalised customer experience.
  • Promote a positive work environment.
  • Prepare reports and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
Key Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage with key stakeholders and staff to ensure business objectives are met.

  • Knowledge of legislation;
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills;
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to juggle multiple tasks;
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring staff;
  • Ability to make sound decisions.
