About Us:
We provide risk and claims management services. Our purpose is to GUIDE those suffering a loss to the best outcomes for their health and financial wellbeing, and to GUARD our clients' assets as trusted stewards.
This role is responsible for leading a Self Insurance team within our National Personal Injury Operation.
- Provide guidance and technical support to Case Managers and Senior Case Managers.
- Develop a small team to ensure capability to deliver superior outcomes.
- Deliver a customer-focused, cost-effective and professional claims service.
- Ensure contractual, compliance and KPI requirements are met for key stakeholders.
You will also:
- Monitor and undertake quality assurance around claims processes, team performance trends and identify improvement opportunities or take remedial action.
- Provide coaching and feedback to staff on technical and performance related issues.
- Ensure delivery of an empathetic, caring and personalised customer experience.
- Promote a positive work environment.
- Prepare reports and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage with key stakeholders and staff to ensure business objectives are met.
- Knowledge of legislation;
- Conflict resolution and negotiation skills;
- Excellent time management skills with ability to juggle multiple tasks;
- Experience in coaching and mentoring staff;
- Ability to make sound decisions.
