About the Opportunity
Ipswich City Council is seeking an experienced and skilled Trade Asset Services Coordinator to join our Works and Field Services team.
This role will provide a unique opportunity for you to utilize your construction, landscape, and maintenance experience to contribute to the council's vision of creating a vibrant and growing region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of parks, reserves, and playgrounds through inspections, reporting, and routine tasks.
- Operate small plant equipment such as kanga, elevated work platform, and job truck.
- Maintenance of fencing, pathways, shelters, retaining walls, shade sails, and outside furniture.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety practices.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current C Class Driver License (MR Licence would be an advantage).
- Experience in construction, landscape, and playground maintenance.
- Relevant trade certificate would be an advantage.
- Ability to be agile and resilient to adjust to changes at short notice.
- Community focused to deliver quality services for residents and visitors.
About the Role
This is a permanent full-time position at LGE Level 5 - 6 with a salary commencing at $65,696 plus 12.5% superannuation.
