
High-Quality Patient Care Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Senior Nurse. The role will involve working closely with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering treatments and coordinating care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directs the administrative needs of medical clinics.
- Liaises with technical representatives in the administration of medical clinics.
- Applies knowledge of nursing principles to patient care.
- Utilizes experience and compassion with advanced clinical skills to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Makes informed decisions in fast-paced environments, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Has a deep understanding of healthcare protocols, patient assessment and care planning.
- Manages complex cases effectively.
- Precepts and mentors junior staff with knowledge of training and teaching methods.
- Develops strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Practical knowledge of laboratory procedures and sample collection techniques.
- Provides professional routine, urgent and emergency care.
- Triage and provides medical advice to patients within scope of practice.
- Performs routine checks such as blood pressure, weight and EKGs.
- Receives and dispatches mail, laboratory and x-ray reports.
- Maintains clinic facilities to ensure safe delivery of care.
- Ensures equipment and utility rooms are sterilized and well-maintained.
- Completes required education and certification requirements for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services or other regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
- Required Skills: Proficient leadership and clinical skills, guiding teams and collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.
- Required Work Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience as a registered nurse, with 3 years' experience managing nursing staff.
- Required Qualifications: Medical license to practice nursing in Australia, Bachelor's degree from accredited institution, Current CPR certification.
- Physical Demands: Work is performed in typical office environment, involving sitting and standing for prolonged periods.
- Other Special Qualifications: Must be a US, UK or Australian citizen, able to relocate to Alice Springs, Australia.
