Job Role Overview

Delivering High-Quality Patient Care in a Critical Care Setting

We are seeking an experienced nursing professional to join our critical care team on a permanent part-time basis. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring we provide exceptional patient care.

  • Support the nursing team in planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based patient care standards.
  • Demonstrate expertise in adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics, and legislative requirements.
  • Supervise, direct, and guide nursing team members, including Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs), to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients for effective health management, rehabilitation, or end-of-life care.
  • Lead quality improvement and safety projects to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to meet patient care needs.
  • Act as a model for safe practice.
  • Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration.
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in ICU/CCU or ED.
  • Understanding of the Australian National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and work effectively within a team environment.

  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in ICU/CCU or ED.
