About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as the Nominated Supervisor for a childcare centre. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in leading the centre's operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and fostering a nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the childcare centre, including managing staff and maintaining high standards of care
  • Ensure the centre complies with all relevant legislation, regulations, and quality assurance standards
  • Develop and implement educational programs that promote the holistic development of children
  • Foster strong relationships with families, community stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for the childcare team
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Minimum Diploma level qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Nominated Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within the childcare sector
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of childcare professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families and stakeholders
  • Thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, and all relevant childcare regulations and legislation
  • Passion for delivering high-quality, child-centred care and education
  • Proven track record of implementing innovative educational programs and initiatives
